Wife of Crime
A true crime podcast hosted by a married couple out of the Bronx, NYC. Jess (the wife) tells her husband Russ all of her favorite true crime stories. They sip some cocktails and discuss the ins and outs of the case. Since their opinions are generally different perspectives, it makes for an entertaining discussion.

On this week's episode I tell Russ the crazy and mysterious case of the Jamison family deaths. It's one thing when a person goes missing...but it's even more crazy when a family goes missing! This story is FULL of weird details, loose ends and lots of possibilities. Moral of this story... Honestly it's too hard to figure out :(

On this week’s episode we finally discuss cults! So I’ve been avoiding talking to Russ about cults because I am totally obsessed and he thinks they are incredibly stupid. But, we decided to dive into this one. It’s actually a 2 for 1 special! I give a summary and update on the Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell case, as well as, tell him all about one of my favorite cults to learn about... Heaven’s Gate. Moral of this story... if they tell you it’s a good idea to chop off your balls because it will help you get to heaven... you’re definitely in a cult 😅

On this week's episode I am telling Russ the case of Jodi Arias and the brutal murder of Travis Alexander. The two of them had different ideas of what they wanted from their relationship. Travis saw this as a casual fling and Jodi saw him as the man of her dreams. Jodi's obsession drove her to go to crazy lengths to keep other women away from him. Even if that mean't getting rid of him altogether. Moral of this story... stop with the "friends with benefits" folks... someone always catches feelings and the person who does just may be a sociopath!

On this week's episode I tell Russ the crazy and amazing story of Jaycee Lee Dugard. Jaycee was 11 years old when she was abducted in front of her home in South Lake Tahoe, California while walking to the bus stop. We usually stay away from cases about anything bad happening to kids but this case is so remarkable I just had to tell it. This woman's story proves that there is hope for the families of missing children. It also is a case that shows us once again if you dig down deep you can survive anything.
Moral of this story...no matter what, even in the darkest of places, never loose hope!

On this week's episode I tell Russ about Robert Berdella a.k.a The Kansas City Butcher. He was one sick SOB... kind of an Ed Kemper, Jeff Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy all rolled into one! This case is something out of nightmares. It was chosen by our very own Patrons, which says a lot about you sick folks HAHA! Moral of this story... Just stay the F away from weird ass people!

In this week's episode, I'm telling Russ about the tragic murder and attempted murder of Peter and Joan Porco. This crime was committed by the couples own son! How do you know when you have kids that you're going to raise a good one? ...It truly is a gamble. Is it nature or nurture? this story will show sometimes no matter how great of a parent you are, a person's evil nature still comes out. Chris Porco maintains his innocence to this day but I'm not buying it and neither did the jury at his trial. Moral of this story... "A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in this world" -Agatha Christie
On this week's episode I tell Russ the tragic and mysterious case of Kendrick Johnson. I decided to tell him this case now because the true crime community found out last week that Kendrick's case is being reopened. This case has baffled and frustrated me for years, for soooo many reasons. I was excited to tell Russ this one because he doesn't know anything about it and I wanted to hear his off the cuff reaction to the details. I really enjoyed discussing this one because hearing him react to this case made me feel like I was hearing this case for the first time. I truly hope this year there is finally justice for Kendrick Johnson. Moral of this story... things aren't always what they seem.

On this week's episode, I tell Russ the case of Paul Stephani a.k.a The Weepy Voice Killer. I'm always surprised at how little attention this serial killer got compared to the other ones. He was brutal. He was also supposedly remorseful for his crimes and claimed he really wanted to be stopped. Listen to hear how Russ reacts to this one... I'm sure if you've been Wife of Crime Family for a while you already know Russ is not the one to give sympathy... especially to a level 10 POS serial killer.

On this week's episode, in honor of Valentine's Day, I tell Russ a love story. It's a story about two psychopaths that somehow found each other and then decided to co sign each others disturbing behavior. Erika and Ben Sifrit were a match made in hell and sadly an innocent couple enjoying their vacation got caught in their web. Every year we bring you a case of a killer couple because we really want to make your Valentine's week extra romantic :) Moral of this story...#NOnewfriends.
On this week's episode I tell Russ the twisted case of Cari Farver. On a previous episode Russ said something super annoying. He said, "men can't be stalked." Like I said... super annoying... so this week I'm telling him the story of a man who was in fact stalked! this case is so nuts on so many levels! They say " hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" well in this case you will see just how far a scorned woman will go. Moral of this story....use this case as a cautionary tale when online dating... be ready to fight if you're gonna swipe right :)
